Heavy overnight rain that left Golden Isles Speedway too saturated for racing forced the cancellation of Sunday’s Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series-sanctioned Super Bowl of Racing program at the track near Brunswick, Ga. The Lucas Oil Series is scheduled to resume Georgia-Florida Speedweeks action on Jan. 30-31 at All-Tech Raceway in Ellisville, Fla., but a series press release stated that officials are exploring possible options to make up Golden Isles's event.
