Widespread rainstorms and flood warnings across southern Ohio has forced World of Outlaws Late Model Series and Atomic Speedway officials to postpone Friday and Saturday’s Fireball 50 at the 3/8-mile oval.

The World Racing Group tour is looking to reschedule the $12,000- and $15,000-to-win programs co-sanctioned with the Valvoline American Late Model Iron Man Series, but no dates were announced. Those who purchased presale tickets will be refunded by Atomic Speedway. For more information, visit atomicspeedway.net.

Next up for the series is April 11-12’s Illini 100 at Farmer City Raceway, with practice on April 10 ahead of the $12,000- and $20,000-to-win events.
