Former Georgia driver Barrow dies at 38

Former Late Model driver Casey Barrow, a two-time winner on the Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series, died Tuesday night of an apparent heart attack at his Savannah, Ga., home. He was 38.
His death was reported by his mother Stacie.
Barrow, whose last special event start came in 2018, won on the Southern All Star circuit in 2009 at Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Ga., and in 2013 at Albany (Ga.) Motor Speedway.
Besides his mother and father Dennis, he's survived by wife Leah and two children, Kinlee and Blayze. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, at Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home in Pooler, Ga.; the funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel followed by burial at Power's Baptist Church Cemetery. — Kelley Carlton
