Title sponsor Rio Grande Waste Services has added the lucrative Lap Leader Loot program to opening and closing Super Late Model events of 2026’s Wild West Shootout, paying $500 per lap led in a pair of $25,000-to-win events.

Flag-to-flag winners would receive an event-record $50,000 check for Jan. 10 and 18 events that bookend Jan. 11, 14 and 16-17 races that pay $10,000-to-win on the miniseries that next season returns to Central Arizona Raceway in Casa Grande, Ariz.

"We are really excited to see the Wild West Shootout move back to its home, and we wanted it to come back with a bang,” said Larry Henk, the owner of El Paso, Texas-based Rio Grande Waste Services. “So we thought, what the hell, let's add some big money to the opener and finale.”

With the $3,000 miniseries points title and lap-leader bonuses in the opening Penske Shocks 50 presented by Schaeffer Oil and concluding Rio Grande Waste Services 50, a single driver could leave Central Arizona with $143,000.

“Larry Henk is the best friend an event could ever hope to have,” miniseries co-promoter Chris Kearns said. “He loves racing and goes above and beyond to do anything and everything he can to help it survive and grow.”
