Jimmy Owens improved six spots and finished seventh aboard the Big Frog Motorsports No. 58v. ... The race was slowed by four cautions, three of them coming before the first lap was completed, including one for Madden's flat. ... Allen Styck, Kenny Collins and Beckham Malone tangled on the ensuing restart attempt with resulting damage eliminating Styck. ... Shane Clanton slowed and retired for the third slowdown. ... Trey Mills spun for the final yellow flag on lap 18 after contact while Seawright was trying to lap him, then called it a night. ... The event honored racing veteran and father of Late Model driver ‘Cat Daddy’ Clint Smith, with the race held annually at their home track. ... The feature lasted 26 minutes, with nine starters completing the distance. ... Joseph Joiner scratched after breaking his car's right-front suspension in time trials; he had limited parts after towing there on an open trailer.
