What won the race: After leading every lap in the first feature of the night, Trey Mills of St. Augustine, Fla., completed the clean sweep of Saturday's twin-feature Alfred Gurley Memorial program on the Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series at Talladega Short Track. The 17-year-old led all 25 laps for the $2,525 victory, topping Dillard Hatchett by 0.689 seconds at the finish.

Quotable: "The car was really good all night. ... The track kind of maneuvered around the bottom for that second feature, so just had to get my car working right around that bottom," Mills said in victory lane. "I was a little bit too tight right there, but managed to hold on and get the job done."

Key notes: It’s Mills’s third overall Super Late Model victory of the season, in addition to his June 26’s Herald & Review 100 victory at Macon (Ill.) Speedway and fourth overall of his young career. ...
