What won the race: Outside front-row starter Chad Thrash of Meridian, Miss., led all 40 laps at Whynot Motorsports Park, earning $3,000 and back-to-back wins on the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series. Thrash, the reigning tour champ, beat David Breazeale by 1.301 seconds for his 27th career MSCCS victory.

Eighteenth-starting David Breazeale worked his way to the top five by a lap-27 restart, then grabbed second from Hunter Lewis as they raced towards the white flag. ...
