What won the race: Overcoming a lengthy rain delay at intermission and a 15-minute red flag on the second lap, Dan Angelicchio of Mount Pleasant, Pa., fired off from the outside front row and led all 20 laps of Friday's $3,000 Fall Fest opener at Latrobe Speedway. Angelicchio beat Alex Ferree by 0.919 of a second for his first career Jay's Automotive United Late Model Series victory and second feature win this season at Latrobe.

The pole-starting Zeigler, of Chalk Hill, Pa., settled for third, extending his ULMS points lead over fifth-finishing Ryan Montgomery. ... Matt Martin took sixth from Colton Flinner on the final lap, relegating Flinner to seventh. ... The 20-lap feature lasted 32 minutes after it was marred by a lap-two red flag that appeared to eliminate Will Britsky. ... Two other cautions slowed the action on lap 13 that appeared to involve Nathan LaSalle, ending his night and lap 18 when 10th-running Joe Petyak retired. ... The program was delayed nearly three hours by rain at the intermission break; the feature ended at 12:21 a.m. local time. ... Latrobe's Fall Fest concludes with Saturday's $6,000-to-win ULMS-sanctioned finale.
