Thomas wins at Albany for third NLMS victory

ALBANY, Ga. (April 3) — Third-starting William Thomas of Phenix City, Ala., raced to his tour-leading third Hedman Hedders National Late Model Series victory of the season Saturday at Albany Motor Speedway. Thomas earned $4,000 in outrunning Steven Roberts of Sylvester, Ga., in the 40-lap feature.

Jay Johnson of Moultrie, Ga., was third followed by Georgians Bob Robertson of Evans and Cole Exum of Valdosta. Polesitter Brandon Dewitt of Molven, Ga., ended up seventh.
