Scott captures Fastrak Northeast opener

MERCER, Pa. (April 6) — David Scott of Garland, Pa., led all 40 laps at Mercer Raceway Park’s Chiller Thriller for a $2,000 victory in the Fastrak Northeast opener for Crate Late Models.
Colton Flinner and Wayne Robertson dueled for second for most of the distance. However, Dan Angellicchio worked past them both in the late stages of the race. Flinner held on for third. Max Blair, whose father Rob won Mercer’s ULMS feature for Super Late Models, was fourth with Mike Pegher Jr. fifth.
