About Michael: Michael based the concept for DirtonDirt.com not only on his time in the news business, but his lifelong passion for Dirt Late Model racing. Before starting DirtonDirt.com, Michael was weekend sports anchor/reporter for the NBC affiliate in Madison, Wis. He has unparalleled enthusiasm not only for telling stories, but also for thinking of new ways and ideas to bring never-before-seen content to racing fans. He combines media experience with being a life-long fan. Wearing those two hats allow him to perform his duties as DirtonDirt.com's TV personality with buoyant enthusiasm. He assembled the team to make DirtonDirt.com thrive and now serves as VP of Motorsports at FloRacing.

Hometown: Tucson, Ariz.

About Aaron: A life-long racing fan, Aaron began attending local events each weekened with his father. The trips developed a passion for motorsports at a young age and Arizona’s warm climate allows for racing nearly year-round. Aaron first began attending dirt racing on a regular basis in 2010, at his hometown USA Raceway, which featured winter's Wild West Shootout. Aaron was tabbed by The Dirt Network in 2016, to contribute pre- and post-race stories, along with engaging on social media. This blossomed into working as a contractor for DirtonDirt.com in 2018, where he updated events within the RaceWire portion of the website. He became a full-time staffer in 2022.

Hometown: Chatsworth, Ill.
Duties: Video director
About Derek: An Illinois State University grad, Derek’s involvement with DirtonDirt.com began with an internship during the summer between his junior and senior years. He worked part time at DirtonDirt.com through his senior year and joined the full-time staff following his graduation in May 2012. Derek lists Fairbury American Legion Speedway as his home track and has been attending events at the central Illinois oval since well before he could walk. Along with his videography skills, Derek provides an intense excitement that helps inspire and invigorate the entire DirtonDirt.com staff. Promoted to website video director in 2018, he also handles the popular SuaveTalk and Suave on the Street segments.

Hometown: Ephrata, Pa.
Duties: Senior writer and editor
About Kevin: A life-long racing fan, Kevin came to DirtonDirt.com after serving as World of Outlaws Late Model Series public relations director for eight years. Growing up in Raritan, N.J., he started attending the weekly big-block modified races at Flemington (N.J.) Speedway at age 9 before his parents took him to other tracks in the Northeast. By high school, he was writing race reports for Area Auto Racing News, where he joined the staff as a columnist, writer and editor after graduating from Lock Haven (Pa.) University in 1995. With his focus moving to Late Models in 2006, Kevin has also contributed to other racing publications, including Dirt Late Model magazine. Kevin and his wife Lori have a son, Kael.

Hometown: Frederick, Md.
Duties: Staff reporter
About Kyle: Along with his life-long dirt racing passion, Kyle brings a diverse journalism background to the staff. Before joining DirtonDirt.com in March 2022, he was a journalist for Speed Sport for two years covering all things auto racing, specifically dirt sprint cars, NASCAR and Dirt Late Models. He additionally covered Hagerstown (Md.) Speedway on a weekly basis for the track’s local newspaper, the Herald-Mail, in 2018. Kyle’s resumeincludes bylines in The Washington Post and Baltimore Sun and he was editor-in-chief of Frederick Community College’s student-run newspaper and co-founder of the now-defunct publication Maryland Sports Access. Kyle coaches high school basketball at Frederick Christian Academy.
