Flinner tops Blair in Mercer's Fastrak event
MERCER, Pa. (Aug. 10) — Colton Flinner of Allison Park, Pa., claimed a $1,500 victory on the Fastrak Northeast Touring Series Saturday night at Mercer Raceway Park, earning his first series victory of the season as the Crate Late Model tour wrapped up a weekend doubleheader.
Defending series champion Max Blair of Centerville, Pa., finished second, backing up his victory in the weekend opener Friday night at Raceway 7 in Conneaut, Ohio. Friday’s runner-up Matt Latta of Conneaut Lake, Pa., was third in Saturday’s 25-lap feature with Chad Wright of Springboro, Pa., and Andrew Wylie of Saltsburg, Pa., rounding out the race’s top five finishers.
