Provinzino thunders to WISSOTA victory at Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Minn. (Sept. 26) — Fourth-starting Jeff Provinzino of Hibbing, Minn., raced to victory in the WISSOTA-sanctioned Thunder in the Pines at Grand Rapids Speedway for a $3,300 payday. Kevin Carlson of Hermanton, Minn., picked up seven positions to finish second while Todd Gehl of Solon Springs, Wis., Kyle Peterlin of Hibbing and Don Coppe of Brule, Wis., rounded out the top five.
