Wells wraps up third Show Me title with Tri-State victory
POCOLA, Okla. (Oct. 16) — Justin Wells of Aurora, Mo., wrapped up his third series championship at Tri-State Speedway by capturing the finale on the Race Brothers Farm and Home Supply Show Me Racing Series. Wells led all 25 laps and added the title to championships in '04 and '09. His victory marked his series-leading eighth of the season and 31st of his career.
Larry Campbell of Van Buren, Ark., chased Wells throughout the feature, settling for second while Randy Zimmerman of Fort Scott Kan, was third. Ken Essary of Cape Fair, Mo., and Show Me Rookie of the Year Colton Dunlap of Muskogee, Okla., rounded out the top five.
