Stovall gets CLMA win at Caney Valley

CANEY, Kan. (Oct. 20) — Jesse Stovall raced to a $1,500 victory in the second round of Caney Valley Speedway’s Oct-Topless doubleheader weekend on Sunday, scoring his second-career Championship Late Model Association victory in the tour’s final race of the season. | Slideshow
Steve Johnson of Joplin, Mo., finished second in the 40-lapper with Justin Wells of Aurora, Mo., notching his second top-three finish of the weekend with his third-place performance. Dave Deets was fourth with Jimmy Seagraves of Furley, Kan., rounding out the top five.
Chance Bishop of Bartlesville, Okla., finished 14th after earning his first-ever CLMA victory in Saturday’s Oct-Topless opener.
