Collins steams to victory in Thompson Memorial

BARBERVILLE, Fla. (July 18) — Johnny Collins of Jacksonville, Fla., earned $3,800 for capturing the third annual Scott Thompson Memorial at Volusia Speedway Park. Adam Bedenbaugh, Patrick Williams, Mark Whitener and fast qualifier Keith Nosbisch rounded out the top five finishers. The event, which drew 61 Late Models, was co-sanctioned by the United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series and National Late Model Series.
