Lavonia gives Madden third SAS win of '09

LAVONIA, Ga. (March 21) — Polesitter Chris Madden of Gray Court, S.C, overtook outside front-row starter Randy Weaver of Crossville, Tenn., on the 16th lap at Lavonia Speedway and led the rest of the 50-lapper for his third O'Reilly Southern All Star victory of the season. | Slideshow
Madden held off challenges from Jonathan Davenport of Blairsville, Ga., for the $5,000 victory in the Super Late Model portion of Lavonia's Late Model Mania. Davenport was second followed by David McCoy of Franklin, N.C., Weaver and Casey Roberts of Toccoa, Ga.
Madden, a two-time Southern All Star champion, has 39 career series victories.
