Putnam tops SRRS foes at Thunderhill

SUMMERTOWN, Tenn. (July 23) — Polesitter Josh Putnam led flag-to-flag on a dry-slick track at high-banked Thunderhill Racway to increase his points lead on the Southern Regional Racing Series.
Putnam earned $3,000 for the victory over Ronny Lee Hollingsworth of Northport, Ala. Anthony Burroughs of Muscle Shoals, Ala., Putnam's closest pursuer in SRRS points, was third while Eric Hickerson and Ray McElhiney rounded out the top five finsihers. | Slideshow
