Nipper nips Marlar for $3,000 at Screven
SYLVANIA, Ga. (Nov. 16) — Jordy Nipper of Gray, Ga., held off a late charge from Mike Marlar of Winfield, Tenn., on Friday at Screven Motor Speedway for a $3,000 victory at the 3/8-mile oval’s season-ending weekend.
Marlar settled for second with Ivedent Lloyd Jr. of Ocala, Fla., in third. Shane Clanton of Fayetteville, Ga., and Clint Smith of Senoia, Ga., rounded out the top five finishers. | Video
Most of the same drivers return to Screven on Saturday for the season finale on the Ultimate Super Dirt Late Model Series, a $5,000-to-win event.
