Whitener bags NLMS victory at EAMS
PHENIX CITY, Ala. (Aug. 3) — Mark Whitener of Middleburg, Fla., claimed a $3,000 victory at East Alabama Motor Speedway with a flag-to-flag performance in the track’s Hedman Hedders National Late Model Series event.
Whitener topped runner-up Cale Simons of Albany, Ga., in claiming his ninth overall victory of the season. Jordy Nipper of Gray, Ga., was third with Jason Fitzgerald of Jacksonville, Fla., and Tyler Ivey of Tallahassee, Fla., rounding out the top five.
