Lee pockets $4,000 win at Lake Cumberland
BURNSIDE, Ky. (July 15) — Victor Lee of Stanford, Ky., picked up $4,000 at Lake Cumberland Speedway on Friday with a victory in the unsanctioned Mulligan Plumbing 50. Lee led the final nine laps after leader Mike Marlar of Winfield, Tenn., tangled with a lapped car late in the race.
Greg Johnson of Franklin, Ind., who led much of the race, settled for second with Skylar Marlar of Winfield, Tenn., in third. Michael Chilton of Salivisa, Ky., and Justin Rattliff of Campbellsville, Ky., rounded out the top five. Mike Marlar ended up seventh.
The event drew 16 Super Late Models.
