Well, here we are. In less than two weeks my wife will be giving birth to our first child (a boy!) and my racing season will be over. With the exception of heading to Eldora to broadcast the World 100 pre-race show, I don’t plan on hitting any more races in 2009. Honestly, I’m not complaining.

The upcoming birth of my son has had me thinking about what my life is going to be like from here on out. I can only hope that I’m as good to my son as my dad was to me when I was growing up.

The Sunoco Race Fuels North-South 100 is upon us and I’m not ashamed to say that this one of my favorite races to attend each year.
