Tis the time of year to give thanks and, as dirt track racing fans, we certainly have a lot to be thankful for. Of course, you wouldn’t always know it by some of the moaning and complaining that goes on on certain forums and messages boards, but there are some of us who are truly thankful for things in this sport. That having been said, I’d like to share with you some of things I’m thankful for:

What’s this? I take a short break from writing a blog and the entire country is up in arms about racing formats and how one is better than the other and so on and so forth. Well guess what? I’m here to officially declare something that may shock you. I don’t give a damn about formats. I don’t care if you qualify or draw pills or use passing points or whatever. Give me a well-prepared racing surface and I can almost promise you that good racing will follow.

With all the hype and anticipation leading into the World 100, every year it seems like the days following the race leave us with just as many questions as we had before.
