Johnny Strawbridge of Moody, Ala., who shot video footage of racing at Talladega Short Track for nearly 30 years, died Monday morning. A fixture at the Eastaboga, Ala., dirt track, he was 65.

“We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of our sweet friend and video man Johnny Strawbridge,” the track posted on its Facebook page. “Please keep his wife Brenda and the rest of the family and friends in your thoughts and prayers. … He never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.”
