Seven events have been scheduled for NeSmith’s RockAuto.com Winter Shootout, a Crate Late Model miniseries with events at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Ala., Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, Fla., East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City and Cochran (Ga.) The Alabama events are set for Jan. 5-8 at Talladega as part of the 26th annual Ice Bowl while EAMS hosts Feb. 4’s Groundhog Classic.

Bubba Raceway Park hosts a Jan. 25 practice and three consecutive nights of Bubba Army Winter Nationals action Jan. 26-28 capped by the 12th annual Chevrolet Performance World Championship, a $10,000-to-win event.

Cochran concludes the winter miniseries with a pair of March 10-11 events, including a $5,000-to-win final.

Many of the winter tour’s competitors will compete starting in the spring on the season-long NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series. That schedule is expected to be released soon. — Series reports
