Southern New Mexico Speedway’s biggest weekend in track history has gotten bigger with additional sponsorship from Rancho Milagro that has doubled the Late Model winner’s purse of the Short Track Shootout finale to $10,000, promoter Rue Stone announced today.

The $10,000 sponsorship from Rancho Milagro has increased the event's total purse to $85,000 which has also allowed significant purse boosts for the USRA modified division at Las Cruces, N.M.’s Jan. 20-22 event.

Instead of winning purses of $2,000-to-win the first two nights and $3,000-to-win Sunday, modifieds are chasing purses of $3,000-, $4,000- and $5,000-to-win over the three-day program.

Unsanctioned Super Late Models will run for a pair of $5,000-to-win shows Friday and Saturday with a $10,000-to-win finale for an event covered live on DirtonDirt.com pay-per-view.
