Sunday’s $12,000-to-win finale for the Super Late Model division is on as scheduled with grandstand gates opening at 3 p.m., hot laps at 3:30 p.m. and races starting at 5 p.m.

The shortening of the miniseries to five from six races means that three-race winner Bobby Pierce of Oakwood, Ill., opportunity for a $100,000 bonus is off the table, but he still has a crack at $50,000 for winning four of five events, according to contract provisions of the Keyser Quarter-Million Challenge. The program offered bonuses of $250,000 (for six victories), $100,000 (for five victories) or $50,000 (for four victories).

The doubleheader was scheduled after Saturday rain forced the postponement of the fifth round of action for the winter miniseries that includes Late Models, modifieds and X-mods. The drivers’ meeting is at 2:30 p.m., the same time the pill draw closes.

Rain checks from Saturday will be honored as a $20 credit toward Sunday’s finale. Sunday’s general admission is $25 for adults, $10 for children 6-12 and free for children 5-and-under.

Viewers that purchased Saturday's pay-per-view event will be refunded in full.
