The purse for April 14’s MARS DIRTcar Series East and Corn Belt Clash event at Davenport (Iowa) Speedway has been raised to $3,500-to-win, up from the originally announced $3,000, according to Corn Belt Clash director Cam Granger.

Additionally, $500 is up for grabs for the event’s fast qualifier on the half-mile layout at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds. The fast time award is sponsored by Michelle Ruefer Chiropractor of Davenport.

Pits open at 4 p.m. April 14 with grandstands opening at 5 p.m. Hot laps are scheduled for 6:30 followed by racing. Three other divisions are in action. General admission is $18 with $2 discount for students and seniors; children 11-and-under are free. Pit passes are $35.
