A wet forecast for Saturday evening prompted the postponement of the scheduled Ultimate Southeast Super Late Model Series event at County Line Raceway in Elm City, N.C. Tour and track officials made the announcement early in the afternoon in an attempt to save teams from traveling long distances. A new date for the $5,000-to-win show is being discussed.

Other weekend special events affected by weather:

Boothill Speedway, Greenwood, La.: Saturday's Comp Cams Super Dirt Series event was rained out; no makeup date was immediately announced, but the track hoped to find a new one.
