The total Late Model purse for Aug. 11’s Duane Mahder Memorial at Red Cedar Speedway in Menomonie, Wis., is $20,000 and growing for the event honoring the late WISSOTA Challenge Series champ.

The winning purse, originally announced at $2,055, is up to $5,555 for the first of three straight nights of action on the WISSOTA Shaw Trucking Challenge Series. Mahder, the 2001 series champion, died last November in a work-related accident at age 64.

The series moves to ABC Raceway in Ashalnd, Wis., on Aug. 12 and Proctor (Minn.) Speedway on Aug. 13.
