Fayetteville (N.C.) Motor Speedway promoter Jim Long Jr. has added additional money to preliminary events for this weekend’s World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series-sanctioned First in Flight 100 presented by Hoker Trucking.

The Big C Dash for Cash presented by Premier Waste Services scheduled for Friday night will now pay $1,001-to-win instead of $500. The dash — a tribute to late Dunn-Benson Motorsports patriarch Carlton Lamm — will include the top finishers from each heat race and will pay $250 to start. The dash will also help determine the starting lineup for Saturday’s 100-lap main event, which pays $25,001-to-win, the fourth highest payday on the circuit’s 2018 schedule.

Purse money has also been increased for Saturday’s non-qualifiers' race, raising the start money from $300 to $400 for the $2,000-to-win race. The winner of the non-qualifiers' race has the option of foregoing his winnings and starting at the tail of the feature.

Friday’s preliminary action also includes super streets, pure streets and U-cars, while Saturday’s schedule includes consolation races for the World of Outlaws and the non-qualifiers' race along with Limited Late Models, modifieds and super stock 4s.
