Special and sanctioned events cancelled or postponed by weather for the weekend before the Fourth of July and through holiday racing:

Rome Speedway: Sunday's $3,000-to-win Super Late Model event at the Georgia oval was rained out; tickets and wristbands will be honored July 22 for the Schaeffer's Spring Nationals event.

Cochran Speedway: Sunday's second leg of the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Salute to America Nationals won't be rescheduled at the Georgia oval. Because the three-race miniseries has been cut to two races (Saturday at Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold, Ga., and Tuesday at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Ala.), the bonus has been adjusted to a $1,000 bonus for two victories or $500 to the top non-sweeping points earner.

All-Tech Raceway: The Ellisville, Fla., scrapped Saturday's Florida Late Model Challenge Series event; no makeup date was announced.

Gondik Law Speedway: The Superior, Wis., track postponed its Border Battle, including a pair of $2,000-to-win Late Model events, for Oct. 11-13.
