Talladega Short Track's Louise Gurley, a fixture in the track office who oversaw race night operations and co-owned the Eastaboga, Ala., track with her late husband Alfred Gurley and Lynn “Preacher” Phillips, died Wednesday. She was 76.

Among survivors are her son Mike Donahoo and several grandchildren. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Lincoln, Ala. The funeral is 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, followed by interment at Coosa Valley Baptist Cemetery. For a complete obituary, visit kilgroefh.com.
