Forecasts for heavy rain have forced officials to postpone Saturday’s Comp Cams Super Dirt Series event at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Ark. The third annual Will McGary Tribute, a $5,000-to-win event honoring a late police officer from Conway, Ark., was rescheduled for Aug. 3.

Among other weekend special events hampered by wet or cold weather:

• Facing cold and wet weather, Trackside Promotions pulled the plug on Saturday and Sunday's Deery Brothers Summer Series events at Maquoketa and Dubuque Speedways in Iowa; makeup dates weren't immediately announced.

• Saturday's Ultimate Deep South opener at ECM Speedway in Arkadelphia, Ala., was rained out with no makeup date.

• Saturday's Southern Outlaw Late Model Series event at Chatham (La.) Speedway was rained out; no makeup date was immediately announced.

• Friday's Schaeffer's Spring Nationals event at Clay Valley Speedway in Coeburn, Va., was cancelled with no immediate makeup date announced; anyone purchasing a DirtonDirt.com pay-per-view package will be refunded.

• Friday's Deery Brothers Summer Series opener at Davenport (Iowa) Speedway was cancelled with no makeup date; the track is scheduled to return to action April 19 with the opener on the Lucas Oil Midwest LateModel Racing Association.

• Rain postponed the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series races scheduled for Friday at Camden (Tenn.) Speedway and Saturday at North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Ala. The Crate Late Model tour is working with track officials to reschedule both events later this season.

• Saturday's DiscountShopTowels.com Dirt Kings Tour opener at Shawano (Wis.) Speedway was reset for April 20.

• With the possibility of severe weather impacting travel for race teams, Saturday’s Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series event at Tri-County Speedway in Pollard, Ala., has been postponed. No immediate makeup date was announced. Tri-County will instead host a regular program headlined by Crate Late Models on Saturday.

• Following persistent rains most of the day on Friday and a forecast of more rain expected overnight and Saturday morning, Fayetteville (N.C.) Motor Speedway and Ultimate Southeast officials decided to call off Saturday's $5,000-to-win event.
