Memorial Day weekend schedule changes
Weather-related and other schedule changes among special events on Memorial Day weekend:
Wythe Raceway: Sunday's American Crate All-Star Series event was postponed after time trials until Aug. 17.
Eriez Speedway: Sunday's Mike Farr Memorial on the Ultimate Northeast Series was rained out with no immediate makeup date announced.
Quad City Speedway: Sunday's Deery Brothers Summer Series event rained out; no makeup date was announced.
Spoon River Speedway: Sunday's Midwest Big 10 Series race at the Banner, Ill., oval was rained out.
Eldora Speedway: Sunday's Sunoco American Late Model Series event, the Johnny Appleseed Classic, was cancelled at the Rossburg, Ohio, oval.
Stateline Speedway: Saturday's Ultimate Northeast Series visit to Busti, N.Y., was rescheduled for Monday.
Oakshade Raceway: No makeup was announced for Saturday's Sunoco American Late Model Series event in in Wauseon, Ohio.
Thunderbird Raceway: Saturday's American Ethanol Late Model Tour event in Muskegon, Mich., was rescheduled for June 22.
I-96 Speedway: Officials were considering a makeup date for Friday's American Ethanol Late Model Tour event in Lake Odessa, Mich.
Park Jefferson International Speedway: Friday's Malvern Bank Super Late Model Series event in Jefferson, S.D., was rained out; no makeup date was immediately announced.
81 Speedway: Saturday's NCRA event in Park City, Kan., was rescheduled for June 16.
Beckley (W.Va.) Motorsports Park: The track has elected not to participate in the Fastrak Triple Crown weekend, scrapping double features for Crate Late Models on Saturday. The track plans a regular-season event with no Late Model-style cars.
Wagner (S.D.) Speedway: Wet grounds forced the postponement of Friday’s Tri-State Late Model Series event to May 31.
Monett (Mo.) Motor Speedway: Along with the cancellation of the Show-Me 100 at Lucas Oil Speedway, Lucas Oil Midwest LateModel Racing Association postponed Sunday’s visit to Monet to July 14.
