Other weekend postponements, cancellations or schedule changes:

Peoria: Saturday's MARS Racing Series event at Peoria (Ill.) Speedway rained out before time trials were complete; the $5,000-to-win Steve Lance Sr. tribute was rescheduled for Aug. 28, a Friday preceding Peoria's $5,000-to-win Illinois State Championship on the MARS circuit.

Ponderosa: Junction City, Ky.'s Ponderosa Speedway added a $3,088-to-win unsanctioned event July 17 for Super Late Modelss in conjunction with a Lake Cumberland special (below) the same weekend.

Lake Cumberland: Burnside, Ky.'s Lake Cumberland Speedway added July 18's Johnny Wheeler Memorial, a $5,031-to-win race for unsanctioned Super Late Models.

Florence: Union, Ky,'s Florence Speedway has added a $5,000-to-win Super Late Model event on July 2 with details to be announced; the northern Kentucky oval also plans on racing the Fourth of July.

Portsmouth: Portsmouth (Ohio) Raceway Park has added a $3,654-to-win Super Late Model event on the undercard of July 10th's Dean Knittel Memorial for Ollie's All-Star Circuit of Champions spring cars.
