Among Mid-August cancellations, postponements and schedule changes of Late Model special and sanctioned events:

• Saturday's Fast Unified Racing Engine Late Model Series event at Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, S.C., was rained out with no makeup date announced.

• Saturday's Blue Ridge Outlaw Late Model event at Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat, Va., was rained out; no makeup date was immediately announced.

• Saturday's Steel Block Late Model Series event at I-77 Speedway in Ripley, W.Va., was rained out; no makeup date was immediately announced.

• Saturday's United Championship Racing Association event at Tazewell (Tenn.) Speedway was rained out and rescheduled for Aug. 22.

• Rain cancelled Saturday's $3,000-to-win Super Late Model race at 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, Tenn.; no makeup date was announced.

• Friday's $4,087-to-win Dick Johanneck Memorial for WISSOTA Late Models at I-94 Sure Step Speedway in Fergus Falls, Minn., was rained out; the event will be part of the Sept. 17-19 King of Dirt weekend with details to be announced.

• Sunday's Frank Sagi Tribute at Hagerstown (Md.) Speedway, a $3,000-to-win Super Late Model event, was cancelled because the Washington County Health Department forced the track to cancel upcoming events.

• The Sooner Late Model series has added a Sept. 4 event at Outlaw Motor Speedway in Oktaha, Okla., and Sept. 5 event at Longdale (Okla.) Speedway.
