Forecasts for cold weather forced the postponement of Friday's Schaeffer's Spring Nationals event, series officials announced. No makeup date was immediately announced for the $10,053-to-win event that would have serve as the tour's first event since 2019.

The Spring Nationals are now scheduled to open Saturday at Tazewell (Tenn.) Speedway for the $21,000-to-win Lil' Bill Corum Memorial, an event co-sanctioned by the Valvoline Iron-Man Racing Series. Tazewell action is scheduled to start one hour earlier than originally announced with pit gates opening at 1 p.m. and grandstands at 4. the drivers' meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. with hot laps at 6.
