Hillbilly makeup also rained out
A rainy week forced the cancellation of Friday’s Hillbilly 100 at Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, W.Va., the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series announced. The race, a makeup of last season’s postponement, won’t be rescheduled.
Fans holding tickets to the 2021 event can use them for 2022’s version of the race on Sept. 4.
With the Hillbilly 100 cancellation, the Lucas Oil Series still has April 9-10 races set with a $15,000-to-win event Saturday at Hagerstown (Md.) Speedway and a $10,000-to-win event Sunday at Port Royal (Pa.) Speedway. Hot laps are scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at Hagerstown and 4 p.m. at Port Royal.
