The third year of the Castrol FloRacing Night in America Super Late Model tour will feature 13 races at 12 tracks in nine states and boast nearly $1 million in total purses, series officials announced Wednesday in revealing the 2023 schedule. | 2023 Castrol schedule

Set to kick off with a Tuesday-Wednesday doubleheader on April 18-19 at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, and Brownstown (Ind.) Speedway, the series will contest 11 consecutive races paying $23,023-to-win and $1,000-to-start before concluding Nov. 10-11 with the Peach State Classic Weekend at Senoia (Ga.) Raceway that includes a $20,000-to-win Friday program and a Saturday finale offering a series-high top prize of $54,054.

All Castrol FloRacing Night in America events will be run on midweek dates except the season-ending weekend at Senoia and will be broadcast live on FloRacing. The tour’s 2023 points fund guarantees the champion at least $50,000 with perfect attendance boosting the title-winner’s take to $75,000.

The Castrol-sponsored circuit will once again be part of the second annual Illinois Speedweek, beginning the miniseries with May 10-11 events at Banner’s Spoon River Speedway and Lincoln Speedway. The four-race stretch of competition will end with Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series-sanctioned shows on May 12-13 at Farmer City Raceway and Fairbury Speedway.

Other tracks hosting Castrol FloRacing Night in America events include Iowa’s Marshalltown Speedway (May 16) and Davenport Speedway (first-ever series race on May 17); Florence Speedway in Union, Ky. (inaugural tour stop on May 31 after its scheduled 2022 race was rained out); Fairbury Speedway (fourth annual One For The Road on Sept. 12); Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, W.Va. (Sept. 27); 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, Tenn. (Oct. 10); and Tri-County Racetrack in Brasstown, N.C. (Tarheel 53 on Oct. 12).

Brandon Sheppard of New Berlin, Ill., was the 2022 Castrol series champion. The 11-race tour boasted 10 different winners and 219 drivers entered at least one event.
