All-Tech's $20,000 show moved to Friday
With weather forecasts calling for rain on Saturday and Friday’s weather looking beautiful, All-Tech Raceway and Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series officials announced on Tuesday an adjustment to this weekend’s Southbound Throwdown presented by Earth Tek, moving the $20,000-to-win program originally scheduled for Saturday evening up 24 hours to Friday at the 4/10-mile oval in Ellisville, Fla.
While Thursday’s practice session from 7-10 p.m. will remain on as planned, the $5,000-to-win show originally planned for Friday will be scrapped to make way for a one-day, $20,000-to-win event to kick off the inaugural season of the Hunt the Front Series. Street stocks and pure stocks will also compete on Friday. Gates open at 3 p.m. Friday with hot laps at 7 p.m. and racing at 8 p.m.
