HTF replaces lost Georgia dates
Replacing a doubleheader at the now-closed Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold, Ga., the first-year Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series today announced the addition of a new Labor Day weekend events at Peach State tracks with $25,000 in winning purses up for grabs.
The drivers on the Joshua Joiner-directed tour will battle for a $10,000-to-win purse at Lavonia Speedway on Sept. 1 and a $15,000-to-win purse at Rome Speedway on Sept. 2 in the annual Rome Boss event.
“Like all dirt racers across the South, we’re upset to lose Boyd’s Speedway, but to be able to replace our Labor Day plans there with even bigger races at two great tracks in Lavonia and Rome, we couldn’t be happier,” Joiner said in a series release. “We’re excited to work with Scott Childress and his team at Lavonia as well as Marshall and Mia Green and their staff at Rome to put on a great weekend of racing.”
