Rainouts, cancellations for early July

Among July 7-9 special and sanctioned Late Model events (non-national tour) affected by weather:

Smoky Mountain: Saturday's Topless Outlaw Series event at Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tenn., was rained out with no makeup date immediately announced.

35 Raceway Park: Saturday's Steel Block Late Model Series event at 35 Raceway Park in Frankfort, Ohio, was rained out; no makeup date was immediately announced.

Greenville: Although Greenville (Miss.) Speedway intended to continued with its weekly program, Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series officials decided to cancel Saturday’s $3,000-to-win stop because of inclement weather.

Thunderhill: Saturday's Southern All Star Series event at Thunderhill Raceway Park in Summertown, Tenn., was postponed by the threat of severe weather; no makeup date was immediately announced.

Wayne County: Saturday's Valvoline Iron-Man Racing Series event at Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio, was rained out with no makeup date immediately announced.

Florence: Saturday's $10,000-to-win Super Late Model event at Florence Speedway in Union, Ky., was scrapped because of a wet forecast; no makeup date was announced.

Central Arkansas: Rain and forecasts for more cancelled Saturady's Titans Legends Late Model Series event at Central Arkansas Motor Speedway in Plumerville; no makeup date was announced.

Centerville: Friday's Titans Legends Late Model Series event at Centerville (Ark.) Speedway was rained out and rescheduled for July 21; the Fowler-Blankenship Memorial pays a series-high $3,023-to-win.

Wagner: After receiving heavy rain, Tri-State Series and Wagner (S.D.) Speedway track officials have cancelled Friday’s $1,500-to-win event; the Tri-State Series visits Park Jefferson (S.D.) Speedway on Saturday.
