Among Dirt Late Model special and sanctioned event postponements, cancellations or schedule changes the first weekend in October:

Marion Center: Track officials cancelled Saturday’s $5,000-to-win third annual Nathan Lauer Memorial because of rain and cold temperatures; it was the track’s second attempt to host the event (Sept. 22).

Tazewell: Crate Racin’ USA cancelled Saturday’s $10,000-to-win Marvin Ford Memorial at Tazewell (Tenn.) Speedway because of unfavorable weather; the event won't be rescheduled.

Latrobe: Friday's Jay's Automotive United Late Model Series event at Latrobe (Pa.) Speedway was rained out. The $4,000-to-win Dave Kittey won't be rescheduled. The track announced later Friday that it will continue with an amended scheduled for Saturday's portion of the Fall Classic, including the $5,000-to-win Rick Frazee Memorial for Crate Late Models.
