AMS miniseries sets 2024 schedule

After successfully reviving Appalachian Mountain Speedweek earlier this year, miniseries director Jim Bernheisel has announced the 2024 schedule for the Pennsylvania-based tour that’ll span eight races between June 7-16.

The tentative miniseries schedule again lists Clinton County Speedway in Lock Haven, Pa., as the opener on June 7. Remaining confirmed dates are Port Royal (Pa.) Speedway on June 8, Hagerstown (Md.) Speedway on June 9, Path Valley Speedway Park in Spring Run, Pa., on June 11, Selinsgrove (Pa.) Speedway on June 13, Bedford (Pa.) Speedway on June 14, Lincoln Speedway on June 15, and BAPS Motor Speedway in York Haven, Pa, on June 16.

Sophomore Super Late Model racer Tyler Emory earned the AMS title in run-away fashion this June over veterans Gregg Satterlee and Rick Eckert. The Bernheisel-led miniseries that had been defunct since 2017 saw 16 drivers make perfect attendance, with an average car count of 41.1 across seven completed races and 97 different drivers enter at least one event.

Additional details and information about the series can be found at www.lmspeedweek.com.
