Former World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series regular Clint Smith of Senoia, Ga., and longtime team owner and Dirt Late Model crew chief James Edward Foster of Lavonia, Ga., top the Class of 2024 for the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame announced Saturday.

Smith (pictured), the inaugural Hav-A-Tampa Dirt Racing Series champion in 1993 and a four-time Southern All Star champion, Smith was a longtime WoO competitor with 12 career victories on the national tour and career-best third-place finish in 2007 points. He had more than 320 career victories overall amid stints as the GRT house car driver and for North Carolina-based Dunn Benson Motorsports. The Hillbilly 100 winner and four-time Alabama State Champion also had multiple track titles at Senoia Raceway and Seven Flags Speedway in Douglasville, Ga. He joins his father, Roscoe, in the Dawsonville, Ga., Hall of Fame.

Foster, who died last year at the age of 61, prepped Dirt Late Models winning more than 1,200 feature races for drivers including Buck Simmons, Leon Sells, Jack Pennington, Stan Massey, Fulmer Lance, Buddy Morris, David McCoy and more. McCoy had a 10-year run driving for Foster that included 283 victories, including 43 in 2013.

Also in the Class of 2024 is the late Max Simpson, builder of Dixie Speedway and car owner for top dirt racers including Simmons, Sells and Doug Kenimer; motorcycle racer Jimmy Maness of Augusta, Ga.; and drag racer Harold Dutton of Oxford, Ga.
