Facing a forecast for thunderstorms Saturday night, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will begin the final program for the 20th annual Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals on Saturday afternoon, the series announced today.

Saturday’s hot laps are scheduled for 4 p.m. with plans to begin consolation race action by 5 p.m. Depending on the timing of the weather threat, schedule times and the running order are subject to change for Saturday’s program, which includes the $50,000 Lucas Oil Series finale and a $4,000-to-win invitational feature for Malvern Bank Series drivers. Pits will open at 1 p.m. Saturday with grandstands opening at 3 p.m.

Friday’s second $7,000-to-win preliminary program will run on schedule with hot laps at 6:30 p.m. Watch live at FloRacing.
