Rocket1 wins $10,000 for pit stop

The Rocket Chassis house car team collected a $10,000 payday for capturing the Hellraizer Jacks Pit Crew Challenge today at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Mo., with the competition's fastest pit stop.
The five-figure payout was a boost from the originally announced purse of $2,000 (and then raised to $6,000) from Hellraizer Jacks, which also awarded the winning team a Champions Edition jack valued at $1,500.
Crew chief Danny White and crew members Austin Hargrove and Joel Rogers are members of the Rocket1 team owned by Mark Richards that fields cars for Lucas Oil Series regular Brandon Sheppard.
Nine of 18 eligible teams competed. Devin Moran's Double Down Motorsports team, last year's winner, finished second for $1,500 while Ricky Thornton Jr.'s Koehler Motorsports team was third ($600). Moran’s team picked up $1,000 for the Best Appearing Crew award.
