Crossville's Bilbrey Memorial now Aug. 9
The Jail Breaker Topless Outlaw Series has changed the date of its Dave Bilbrey Memorial 44 at Crossville (Tenn.) Speedway to Aug. 9. The $4,400-to-win event was originally scheduled for Aug. 29 on the Limited Late Model circuit.
A previously event at Big South Fork Raceway in Huntsville, Tenn., was removed from the series schedule. The track decided it wasn't quite ready to host a series event in its first year of reopening, according to series owner Scott Pass.
Among other recent series and special event schedule changes for Dirt Late Model events:
• Friday's Gulf South Crate Racing Association event at Sabine Speedway in Many, La., was cancelled because of rain chances and scheduling conficts, the series announced.
• Friday's United Late Model Racing Association event at North Central Arkansas Speedway in Yellville, Ark., was removed the schedule.
• Laurens County Speedway in Laurens, S.C., today added a July 19 event for 602 Crate Late Models paying $3,000-to-win and sponsored by A2 Exterminators.
• The RUSH Crate Late Model event rained out June 6 at McKean County Raceway in East Smethport, Pa., was rescheduled for Aug. 22. (The event was originally rescheduled for Aug. 1, but a conflict forced the change.)
