The Aug. 1-2 weekend at a pair of Kansas tracks has been cancelled, the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series announced this evening. The $10,000-to-win events were scheduled for Friday at Humboldt Speedway and Saturday at Caney Valley Speedway.

The decision was made primarily because of weather, series director Ernie Leftwich told DirtonDirt. Because Caney Valley has had so many rainouts, the track decided against hosting the. The series couldn’t find a replacement and the decision was made to cancel the entire weekend.

Next up for the Arkansas-based tour is Aug. 7-8’s Clash at the Mag with $5,000- and $12,000-to-win events at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Miss. Practice is scheduled for Aug. 6. The Magnolia weekend is the makeup of June 13-14 rainouts.
